Thank you to all who braved the weather on 19th June to help make the 16th Annual Port Stephens Community Dolphin Census a success. Mother Nature tested us this year and we really appreciate everybody’s patience, flexibility, understanding and most of all, dedication throughout the process. 86 dolphins were sighted throughout the morning, included a few well knowns. POSTPONED: 2016 Port Stephens Community Dolphin Census
We have been watching the weather forecast closely over the past week. Due to an intensifying low developing off our coast we have made the difficult decision to postpone the community census until Sunday, June 19th, 11am-12pm. Forecast heavy rains throughout the weekend, strong winds and large seas mean that conditions are not ideal for spotting dolphins and are not safe, comfortable or likely enjoyable for participants. We have rescheduled the event for Sunday June 19th. Ho
