Port Stephens Fish Farms & Aquaculture Community Forum

Save the date! On Wednesday 22nd June, the Marine Parks Association will be hosting a Community Forum to address issues relating to DPI and Huon Aquaculture Ltd's proposed aquaculture research lease in our Marine Park.

Huon Aquaculture Ltd and DPI are proposing to develop a research aquaculture project for growing kingfish in the pristine waters between Cabbage Tree Island and Broughton Island. The project is due to start in August, yet we as a community still know very little about this proposition. Featuring guest speakers, the 'Port Stephens Fish Farms & Aquaculture Community Forum' is an opportunity for the community to learn and contribute to the debate, before it's too late.
