13 Nov 19: The Life and Habits of Sea Urchins
Join us in November for the last Sea Stories event of 2019. The Life and Habits of Sea Urchins will be hosted by Greg Finn (Pristine Waters/Pacific Urchin) and agricultural scientist and diver, Ron Bowditch. Together they will explore the curious life of sea urchins, their role within the ecosystem and sustainable harvesting practises.
7pm, Wednesday 13th November
Waratah Room, Tomaree Library
7 Community Close, Salamander Bay. This will be our last Sea Stories event for 2019. We have enjoyed hosting this series, and appreciate all of the wonderful presenters who have given their time and shared their knowledge on a variety of topics including sharks, dolphins and whales, single-use plastics, sea birds, sand, fishing in Port Stephens and sea horses. We are so lucky to live in a region of such rich beauty and biodiversity! We hope you can join us for the final Sea Stories of 2019. Stay tuned for 2020 events....
